School of Trauma Release & Lexi Dells (Waves of Wellness)

These Terms & Conditions apply to all training courses, programmes, workshops, retreats, masterclasses, online learning & toolkits, 1:1 sessions, consultancy services and digital materials provided by the School of Trauma Release, and Lexi Dells (Waves of Wellness)  (“we”, “us”, “our”).

  1. Introduction

1.1 By booking or purchasing any of our programmes (“Programme”) or services (“Service”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1.2 Our programmes & services are intended for education, professional development, and personal wellbeing learning and are not for resale or commercial redistribution.

1.3 This contract is governed by UK law and is available in English only.

1.4 If purchasing a Programme or Service as a gift, you are responsible for ensuring the recipient is aware of and agrees to these Terms.

1.5 Our Programmes and Services are not a replacement for medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic treatment. It is your responsibility to assess your physical, emotional, and mental readiness to participate. If in doubt, consult your GP or healthcare professional before booking.

  1. Roles & Responsibilities

2.1 Through our Programmes and Services, we provide tools, education, guidance and experiential practices to support trauma-informed understanding, wellbeing and nervous-system regulation and practice. Outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

2.2 For training programmes, you confirm that you either:

  • Hold a relevant holistic or therapy qualification, or
  • Have an appropriate level of personal development, self-responsibility, and readiness to engage safely with the material.

2.3 Some sessions, workshops or retreats may include non-intimate, consensual touch as part of educational demonstration or practice. Touch is never applied to intimate areas. You must inform us in advance if you do not wish to be touched or if there are specific areas you do not consent to.

2.4 You remain fully responsible for your wellbeing and boundaries throughout the Programme and by taking part in our services, you acknowledge that:-

  • Participation is voluntary
  • Everyone’s experience and results will be different; and
  • You are responsible for your own wellbeing, choices and actions during and after your participation, including at any in-person events or retreats.

2.5 We work hard to ensure that our services are delivered with reasonable care and skill and are as described. However, because our services involve personal experience, reflection, and participation, we cannot guarantee that you will find a course, coaching session, or retreat enjoyable, inspiring, or suitable for your expectations. 

Disappointment or dissatisfaction based on personal preference or expectation alone does not amount to a failure to provide our services with reasonable care and skill, and outcomes are not guaranteed.

2.6 Except for the matters set out in clause 2.7 below, our total liability to you for any claim arising in connection with our services, whether in contract, negligence or otherwise, will not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

2.7 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our responsibility for:

  • death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • breach of your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015; or
  • any other responsibility that we are not allowed to limit or exclude by law.

 

  1. Booking & Payment

3.1 Bookings are made via our online booking or checkout system. A booking is confirmed once you receive email confirmation.

3.2 Participants must be 18 years or older, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3.3 Fees must be paid in line with the payment option selected at checkout.

3.4 All digital products and session materials are provided for personal use only. Resale, sharing, copying, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.

 

  1. Cancellations & Refunds

4.1 Statutory 14-Day Cooling-Off Period (Online, Toolkits & Distance Sales)

Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel an online or distance purchase within 14 days of the date of purchase.

To cancel within this period, written notice must be sent to the organisation you have purchased from - either📧 [email protected] or for Lexi Dells (Waves of Wellness) use [email protected].

This right is subject to the conditions below:-

Digital Content & Online Materials (including Toolkits)

By enrolling in any online or blended Programme, purchasing digital downloads or online content, you acknowledge that:

  • You are granted immediate access to digital materials, including videos, recordings, manuals, PDFs, workbooks, and online portals.
  • Once digital content has been accessed, streamed, or downloaded, this constitutes partial delivery of the service.

Refunds during the cooling-off period:

  • If no digital materials have been accessed, you are entitled to a full refund.
  • If digital materials have been accessed, we reserve the right to:
    • Deduct a reasonable proportion of the fee, or
    • Decline a refund where access is deemed substantial.

Where you consent at checkout to immediate access to digital content, you acknowledge that your right to cancel may be waived once delivery begins, as permitted by law.

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain unaffected.

4.2 Masterclasses

  • Payment is due at the time of booking.
  • Bookings close 24 hours before the masterclass.
  • Please ensure the masterclass is suitable for you before purchasing.
  • No refunds are available once purchased, except where required by law.

 

 

 

 

4.3 Training Courses & Programmes

  • A 10% deposit is payable at booking and is non-refundable.
  • The full balance must be paid by the end of the course.
  • Where a payment plan is selected, all instalments must be completed, even if you choose not to attend, complete, or engage with the Programme.
  • No refunds are offered for missed sessions, late arrival, or incomplete participation.

Under exceptional circumstances, and at our discretion, we may agree to transfer your place to the next available intake, subject to availability.

4.4 Workshops & Retreats

Workshops

  • A 20% non-refundable deposit is required.
  • Final balance due 14 days before the event.
  • No refunds are available, except where required by law.

Retreats

  • A 20% non-refundable deposit is required.
  • Full balance due 6 weeks before the retreat start date.

Retreat refunds & transfers:

  • Within 7 days of the start date: no refunds or transfers.
  • Between 7–14 days: transfer to a future retreat may be offered.
  • More than 14 days: refund available minus the deposit.

Places are limited and allocated on a first-come basis.

4.5 1:1 Sessions (Online & In Person)

  • Sessions must be paid in full at least 48 hours before the scheduled session.

Cancellations:

  • Within 24 hours of the session: no refund
  • Between 24–48 hours: 50% refund
  • More than 48 hours: full refund

No refunds are offered for late arrival, missed sessions, or early termination.
Where possible, we may offer rescheduling at our discretion.

4.6 Consultancy Services

Consultancy services are time-based and bespoke.
Once commenced, consultancy sessions are non-refundable.
Cancellations are subject to the same notice periods as 1:1 sessions unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4.7 How to Cancel

Please include your full name, Programme or Service purchased, and date of purchase.

5 Trauma-Informed Notice

The School of Trauma Release & Lexi Dells Waves of Wellness offer body-based trauma-informed education, experiential learning and wellbeing support. We encourage participants to book only when they feel ready and resourced. If you are unsure whether a Programme or Service is suitable, please contact us before purchasing.

  1. 6. Safety & Well-being

6.1 Programmes and Services may include trauma release education & practices, kinesiology-informed approaches, meditation, vagus nerve education, movement, trauma-release boxing concepts, and energy-based awareness. These are educational and experiential and not a substitute for therapy or medical treatment.

6.2 You are responsible for assessing your ability to participate. If you experience discomfort or distress, you must stop and seek appropriate support.

6.3 Pregnancy: Always seek medical advice before participating. You are solely responsible for your safety and that of your baby.

6.4 We work in alignment with professional standards associated with bodies such as the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine and the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). However, we do not accept responsibility for individual reactions, interpretations, or outcomes.

  1. 7. Boxing & Fitness-Based Training Waiver (where applicable)

7.1 A basic risk assessment will be conducted for training environments.

7.2 Participation in boxing or fitness-based educational elements carries inherent risks, including strain or injury.

7.3 By participating, you confirm that:

  • You take part at your own risk
  • You are medically fit to attend
  • You release the School of Trauma Release from liability for injury or damage to personal belongings, except where required by law
  • You accept responsibility for any medical costs incurred

7.4 No sparring or physical contact is permitted.

7.5 Participants may be required to sign a waiver and provide emergency contact details.

  1. 8. Cacao Disclaimer (where applicable)

8.1 Ceremonial-grade cacao may be offered at some events as an optional element.

8.2 If consuming cacao, consult a medical professional if pregnant, on medication, or with heart conditions. Theobromine may increase heart rate and lower blood pressure.

8.3 Consumption is optional and undertaken at your own discretion. You confirm that you are medically fit to participate.

  1. 9. Intellectual Property & Media Consent

9.1 All content, materials, frameworks, and recordings are the intellectual property of the School of Trauma Release.

9.2 No recording, copying, reproduction, or redistribution is permitted without written consent.

9.3 By attending training, sessions, workshops or retreats you consent to photography, video, or audio recording for educational or marketing purposes unless you opt out in writing by emailing [email protected] or [email protected] (depending on which Programme or Service you have purchased) prior to the event.

  1. 10. Consumer Rights, Memberships & Payment Plans

10.1 Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain unaffected.

10.2 Where programmes include memberships or subscriptions, these may automatically renew unless cancelled. No refunds are provided for unused portions.

10.3 Where payment plans are used, it is your responsibility to ensure they are cancelled at the appropriate time. Any system errors will be corrected within 28 days of notification.

  1. Events Outside Our Control

11.1 We will not be responsible for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms where that delay or failure is caused by events beyond our reasonable control (an Event Outside Our Control).

An Event Outside Our Control may include, for example:

  • extreme weather conditions;
  • fire, flood or natural disaster;
  • epidemics, pandemics or public health emergencies;
  • acts of government or public authorities;
  • strikes, industrial action or transport disruption;
  • failure of utilities, internet services or digital platforms;
  • illness, injury or unavoidable unavailability of key personnel; or
  • failure or closure of venues or accommodation providers.

If an Event Outside Our Control occurs, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible; and we may suspend, postpone or make reasonable changes to the affected services.

Where possible, we will offer you a rescheduled date; a suitable alternative; or access to a comparable online service.

If the affected service cannot reasonably be provided or rescheduled, we will provide a refund for the part of the service you have paid for but not received, in line with your statutory rights.

By purchasing, accessing, or participating in any training, course, workshop, retreat, programme, membership, coaching, therapy, or service provided by Lexi Dells, Waves of Wellness, or School of Trauma Release, you agree that any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising from or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

This applies regardless of the participant's country of residence or location from which the services are accessed.

We process personal information in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and other applicable UK data protection legislation.

If you access our services from outside the United Kingdom, you acknowledge that your personal information will be processed and stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Language

These Terms and Conditions are written in the English language.

If they are translated into another language for convenience, the English version shall prevail in the event of any inconsistency or dispute.

Acceptance of Terms

By booking, purchasing or participating in any service, programme, course, workshop, retreat, consultation, membership or digital product, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

This agreement is entered into with a business established and operating in England and Wales and is governed accordingly.

Professional Services

Unless expressly stated otherwise, all services provided by School of Trauma Release™ and Blissness™ are educational, wellbeing, coaching and professional development services.

Our services are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any medical, psychiatric or psychological condition and are not a substitute for advice, diagnosis or treatment from a suitably qualified medical, healthcare or mental health professional.
